What is the optimal interval for a cheat day

What is the optimal interval for a cheat day, and what would be the best way to shock the body. My cheat day is comprised of Moderate fat Moderate carb low protien. I have heard that this is the best, but i am unsure about how many calories to take in.
 
just eat anything with lots of carbs and protein. i like pizza that is really good for cheat day. lots of pasta.
 
I schedule my cheat day every 5 or 6 days of eating very clean. And when I cheat I indulge my every whim. Before it used to be loads of sugary, fatty stuff but now I take in more good fats with a bit less of the sugary fat stuff. An interesting thing is that saturated fat is a precursor in the production of testosterone ... so with this in mind I figure that a lot of fat on the cheat day can only be a good thing??

What about just not cheating at all? Is this considered bad? I know some ppl try not to cheat at all. Yet most people i see now a days have about one cheat day a week.

A day of high calorie eating should be included to refuel especially after long periods of intense training and strict dieting. If one is strong psycologically and doesn't need a cheat day, then they should use the day of high calorie eating to stock up on good quality, high energy fats & carbs ....
 
I have gone without cheating for months on end, wheather bulking or cutting. I have no craving for cheat days. I dont even have the urge to cheat, but i think that it will be to my benefit if i incorporate cheat days. I had one cheat day 4 days ago for the first time in months. I ate pizza for lunch and a brownie sunday for dinner. I gained sooo much fat from it, and it still has not gone awway. I didnt even eat that much. I think this is due to the fact that my body has been without cheat for so long, that it tries to store anything it can as fat. Cheat meals will hopefully prove to be helpful.

No way...not two meals....I'll mortgage the house on that.......I'll bet you can't gain 2-3 lbs of fat from a full WEEK of binging.......unless u just lay in bed all week and slam cheesecake, but you get my drift.....
 
i will put money on it, if you dont belive me. My abs went from 6 pack to no pack, and i have been in a calorie deficit for the past few days. I even did morning cardio on an empty stomach, the day after my cheat meal.
