Roid warrior has the right idea about carnivor. From what I have learned about it, it is basically a packet sniffer for e-mail. The FBI's big problem is that they have to have the isp's, or mail service provider's permission to use it. And suprisingly enough they are having a hard time trying to get them to cooperate, as the isps feel that it might hurt business. But as for the pgp mail encription, we are kinda screwed by the encription laws in the us anyway, as any encription you could use (legally that is) can easilly be broken by govt technology, not to mention that one of the requriements of the law is that the govt have the key to all encription used in the us. This still does not give them complete freedom to access, but makes it much easier. But as long as you are not sending plans to make a bomb, assination plans, or any other major illegal activity, then you have nothing to worry about. Or so we hope. lol
