Protein it would be scrambled eggs, usually one whole per 6 whites.

Carb probably quinoa. I just finished a bowl not 5 minutes ago. Just a little sea salt and some garlic powder and it's awesome.
 
Protein lean ground beef or bison sirloin steak. I am a red meal chica. :) I make a mean, lean ground beef chili that is also contest prep clean for me.

Carbs would probably be a hot bowl of oatmeal, cinnamon and splenda with either blueberries or raisins.

Good fats...of course Peanut Butter.

Island Girl...would you share your chili recipe? I`m so not creative when it comes to cooking and would love a contest prep chili!! Thanks so much. :)

I just ate bison today for the 1st time lol Frank told me where to buy it here ( we don’t have a huge selection in sterling for foods etc) but I found some and loved it but I dont know how to make chili ne ideas?:jenscat

You like pinto beans? Whole pintos have a stupid low GI and essentially zero simple carbs. Dont eat them refried (in a paste) as they accelerates the gastric emptying and would have the effect of raising the GI substantially.

Personally I love them, but theres the errr....digestive issue...so you know. You might want to take some Beano beforehand.
