What is the Best Multi-Vite out there?

I need a new Multi-V, what is the best brand out there, what does it cost, and what kind of dosage should I take?

dont know if i agree with that.... your piss turns yellow when you have excess of vitamins or you have vitamins not being absorbed by your body... taking excess vitamins can be detrimental and lead to nutrient imbalances... i also dont like vitamins boasting herbs as no one knows the effects of long term herb use... and i dont want to be the test subject!! so, i think centrum is a good choice.. no (or little) herbs.... and no more than 100% dv

um CENTRUM IS $hit ...sorry folks.... get an established brand that you cant get at shoprite..... make sure its atleast a 2 a day....one a days clear the system to fast and most sustained release formulas are just hard pressed tabs that decrease absorbtion. VItamin Shoppe, Solgar , Solaray, Carlson, all rep. brands....centrum using crappy forms of vitamins.... poorly absorbed. By splitting the vit up you are makeing sure that you do not over load in one shot on anyone vit, and you are keeping level concentrations in the body. And herbs have been around for 1000's of years....most are well researched just do the homework on them.... ginseng, gingko, all acutally have long term benefits as antioxidants ...not just energy and mental stim abilities

I think GNC's megamen are excellent...in quality and ingredients. It has all the vits and mins that you need plus a lot of herbs good for your body. Don't worry about herbs side effects...indians treated everything in the past with herbs, and have you seen in your whole life an animal with cancer?...or an animal with prostate problems, or a tiger with Alzheimer?. The key is nutrition...and that nutrition is in mother nature, specifically in herbs...that's the secret for a long and healthy life. Generation after generation, humans have been getting off the nutrients that their body needs...and that produce degeneration on the specimen after hundreds of years

djufo is right....megamen are excellent and I've tried just about everything thats out there. Opinions will vary so I suggest shopping around......oneadays IMO arent for bbers...not enough of anything in them....compare ingredients to megamen then make your own decision

Twinlab makes a very good one in cap form. Also the vitamin packets are generally known to be superior.

I use MegaMen as well. I think the B-complex turn your urine bright yellow.

I say check out the Life Extention Foundation Life Extension Mix or the Vitamin Shoppe Life Essentials Multi (same thing). It's 9 a day split up throughout the day. Albeit it may be quite pricey, it's your health: you decide if your health has a price tag to it.
As for GNC's MegaMan, it would be complete in my book IF you threw in the extra Vitamin C and E for sufficient protection from oxidative stress. However, I'd prefer the Vitamin Shoppe's Especially for Men. It's EXACTLY the same thing and costs less everyday (especially this month) without waiting for Gold Card week to roll by. Why pay more when you can get the exact same thing for less?
