Was her libido higher before going on birth control?

From personal experience, Ortho Tricyclen and Triphasil killed my libido. They had a number of other bad side effects and I switched to an IUD.

Also, I've never heard anything good about Depo-Provera (the shot). I think they sometimes even give it to male sex offenders to kill their libido.

Condoms and IUDs won't decrease sex drive.

OCs probably will, to differing degrees, depending on drug of choice.

Abstaining really increases your sex drive - just don't get to do much about it. Keeps your lifts intense though.

That's exactly what I was thinking ... I would recommend condoms if you don't have sex very often and/or with different partners, or otherwise an IUD.
