What is good to use after taking T3 for 6 weeks in order to boost your own thyroid to return to normal?

Actually, iodine is good for the tyroid. It prevents goiters and a list of other disorders. Though it is a poisonous substance you can still take take it orally (with caution). A couple of drops from a tincture of iodine in a glass of water. You will possibly fell a reaction after taking it. Remember, just a couple of drops off the stick in the cap of the bottle.

Whoa Whoa Whoa!!! Hold up. Iodine!? You mean that red stuff that you put on cuts and scrapes?! The one with the skull and crossbones and reads poison on it?! This is helpful to recover the thyroid after T3 usage?!!! Are you sure? And for how long should I do this for? See, this is weird because a while back a vet at my gym told me that placing that stuff under your tongue will slow down your metabolism.

I wouldn't recommend taking straight iodine unless you know what your doing!!! You can eat foods high in iodine....such as shellfish (shrimp, crab) certain Kelps (sushi) Salt is iodized.....be careful if you want to use it straight from the bottle...iodine is poisonous! After all, there is a skull and cross bones on the bottle for a reason!!!!!!!!

coconut oil helps keep thyroid healthy, but if you taper t3 properly there should not be much of a worry

Yes, if you're deficient in iodine or tyrosine your thyroid will not function properly. (t3 and t4 are actually kind of like 2 tyrosines containing iodine atoms), t3, 3 iodine atoms, and t4, you guessed it 4 iodine atoms) as you can see iodine and tyrosine are essential for production of both.

there is iodine in most multi vitamin/minerals.

and like huck said tyrosine, it's the combonation of both iodine and tyrosine in which is effective, because
iodine (iodinates) tyrosine so that the now iodinated tyrosine can under go coupling to create T3, not only that but t4 as well.
