What is amount is considered IN MODERATION for vegetables ?

I'm coming off my diet and increase carb intake. I hear many say eat those veggies for in moderation. Moderation is a nice word, but give an example.

I almost always weight my food with electric scale. I weighted 200g of raw (uncooked) broccoli providing 73 cals (6g protein, 0.7g fat, 10.5g carb (of which 6g are fiber))

I was tasty and feels like I could eat those 200g 3 or 4 times a day and quite enjoy it.

Suppose I'm on a 1800cals diet, is 600g of raw veggies(weighted before microwaving) considered exessive ?
 
I personally feel that you can eat as many non-starchy vegetables as you want...especially if you're not heavily restricting carbs. Like you said, they're full of fiber! If it's green, you're pretty damn safe! Eat up on the broccoli! I'd like to see someone get fat eating too many green vegetables!!!
 
I pray to GOD that you are competing.......if it ever cam down to me wighing my veggies, I'd cut off my hands.....now, I do weigh my chx and metas daily.......ONly, to make sure I'm getting enough,,,,,

600g of raw veggies is not excessive
quite good actually
You need lots of fiber and taking them from brocoli is better than from pills

BTW, microwaving is NOT the best way for cooking veggies

Thanx, I microwave about 200g of broccoli for only 2 min at my job. So you say steaming is preferred? Will 2min of microwaving get all the vit/minerals out of the veggies ?

As you certainly know the quicker the better
2 minutes in the microwave is OK

But steaming or cooking with very little water (that you can drink) and no fat are even better
