What happens if I freeze protein bars?

Costco has a 2 for 1 this week and I just happen to be in and out this week for other stuff.

The bars are rated to last less than a year. So I may need to freeze a few.

Do they get weird?

Ever done it?

they should be fine.

i once bought over 100 expired met rx protein bars. they were a little hard, but ok

Protein bars are disgusting. I find them useless.

Protein bars are life savers when the bride doesn't think that hard working photographers require sustenance.

Also...Costco has a 2 for 1 on 100 packs of TDK DVDs. TDK are pretty good.

Though I sell them...they required me to pay sales tax due to the 2 for 1. That is bogus.

I bet you have a lot of gas.

I want to freeze them so they will remain good for a long time. Unthaw them prior to eating.

Some foods get weird if frozen.

Lacking answers on the board, I have frozen one. Now it is unthawing. When unwrappped, I should have my answer.

I was hoping a chemist or nutritionist would explain that it was a good idea or a bad idea.
