What do you think of this?

i added a 4th workout so squats had their own day, so now it's just a core day primarily, i do:

squats
ghr's
reverse hypers
good mornings :alternate between standing flat and seated.

my only problem is i can't find a decent place to anchor myself while doing them, it's not that big of a deal yet cuz i couldn't manage more than 25 total over 4 sets. do you think it's ok to have this much lower back in one week? cuz saturday is DL day.

depends on the volume overall, depends on what you do on DL day, depends on the day of the week you do your 'core day' (as far as i can remember westside advocates 72hr of regeneration in between)
depends on how long you plan on running it through

with how much % are you hitting it on squats on your 'core day'?

is the oder of exercises you posted the order in which you do them? (i.e. squats - ghrs - rh - gms?)

personally i think the good mornings at the end are too much, again, i dunno what you do on DL day and i dunno with how much % you do your squats, but after squats, ghrs, rhs... if you'll do your goodmornings with 70%+ after that i guess you couldn't keep it up for too long
and i wouldn't worry as much for the lower back as for the glutes and hams
and if you do goodmornings with less than 70% for higher reps, why do them at all when you can get the same amount of hypertrophy from ghrs and rhs?

personally i would say - leave out the good mornings

just my two cents

obviously youre not maxing on those..i think its fine but we are all different if you feel your low back isnt recovering then its time to go to less volume..

no, no max efforts on those yet, i jus started doing them again and the ghr and reverse hypers are being done on equipment that is not designed for them, so i imagine that i'll be reaping only partial benefits. once i get proficient in them, i'll work in max attmepts.

im no expert but i havent heard of anyone maxing on ghr's or rev hypers..
Gm's get the form down first then start using it as a ME exercise..ill always include GM's but if i do a box as a ME ill do Gm's for reps...i wish i had a rev hyper i may buy myself a ghr in the new year!!

oh, sorry, i didn't specify, i'd max on gm's and diff. variations of SQ. and i agree with the ghr and rev hyper, i've never even seen one outside of internet pics, i think any gym would be doing their members a huge service if they were to make these pieces of equipment a staple.

gotcha..hell yeah i mean even women should be trying to do GHR's..thats an area women always have a problem with but most trainers are to dumb..lol
