New member
What's up boys,
First time back on the board in a while moved back home and parents did not have the internet......I went through withdrawl I felt like I was missing out on some great new gear or something..
Anyway I just wanted to make a new CD to workout to getting tired of the old one and just wanted to get some new songs.. Who better to ask then all of you guys, if you could list some of the best songs(with the name of the artist) you get a pump from listening to... thanks and it feels great to be back, just like the 1st shot of 750ml of sust after taking a couple of months off.

Meshuggah, Skinlab, Skinless, Rammstein, In Flames, Tool, Iced Earth, Fear Factory, Static X, Hatebreed, Opeth, Taproot... the list goes on

I listen to whatever crap the fools have on at the gym.

Otherwise at home, on my easy workouts, I listen to:
P. Diddy
Nappy Roots
Snoop Dog
Tupac
Ludacris

Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, Linkin Park, Metallica, AC/DC, Van Halen, Led Zep, Sabbath, Ozzy, Deep Purple, Rob Zombie, Kid Rock, Methods of Mayhem, Judas Priest, Dio, Scorpions, Def Leppard, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, System Of A Down, Slayer, Fear Factory, Brujeria, Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, Korn, Rage, Lenny Kravitz, Foghat, Steppenwolf etc etc etc etc....

I have one of those bad ass Nomad Jukeboxes and I can store like over 3000 songs on it. So I pretty much listen to whatever the fuck Im in the mood to listen to. :fro:

Anything Heavy and Crazy (Slipknot, Hatebreed, Meshuggah, Fear Factory, etc...)

There's no way I can go to the gym without my Nomad Jukebox. My freakin Gym plays light R&B music all the time.

I use the heavy music to isolate myself, put me in a zone, and for motivation. It definitely helps.

Korn, Pantera, Malice, Metal Church, Iron Maiden, Yngwie, Sevendust...

My favorite is the Korn Untouchables CD... badass workout music...

Bhangra
In the gym I workout they give you headphones and you can listen to several TV and watch them or play your own CD. In the previous gym, it sucked I used to listen to Chinese Station Radio, can't understand jack shit and their supid humour.

Anything hard and abrasive with a good rythmn gets me pumped while I'm lifting. Dom+Roland, Dillinja, Acumen, Technical Itch, NIN, Concord Dawn, etc. I listen to mostly trance doing cardio, though...

The list is too long, it varies...

Exodus
Deicide
Testament
Malevolent Creation
old Metallica
Megadeth (Rust in Peace)
Sinister (are they still around??)
Broken Hope
Morbid Angel
etc etc

It all depends on my mood, sometimes I will listen to something fast/heavy like shai hulud, poison the well, underoath...but then sometimes I listen to like reach the sky or boy sets fire. I listen to techno sometimes when I do cardio cause the beat keeps me going.

i dont know what gym you go too but maybee its time to switch
"its raining men" ?

Speaking of walkmans, does anyone have a good fix for this? Cd players are too big and awkward and the radio stations here are ass. I'm thinking an MP3 player of some kind that I can fasten to my arm or wear around the waist. Does anyone know something that works?

Why dont you guys get an MD player. Its the smallest thing.

Most MP3 players are smaller than MD players. And you'll be very limited with a MD player unless you also have MD recorder.
