I was doing some anti-e research and came across something called "Super Miraforte with Chrysin" Here's what this study said about it
" SUPER MIRAFORTE with CHRYSIN - Chrysin, a bioflavonoid, has been shown to restore youthful sex hormone profiles in men by inhibiting aromatase, an enzyme that converts male hormones (androgens) into estradiol, the strongest form of estrogen.
Excess estrogen in males past puberty has been conclusively linked to disorders that were traditionally considered to be “exclusively” androgen mediated. It has been shown that both androgens and excess estrogen are contributing factors to not only hair loss, but prostate enlargement and prostate cancer as well. A patent was recently issued to researchers in England for the use of aromatase inhibitors combined with antiandrogens for the treatment of male pattern balding. Excess estrogen has also been implicated in a process known as “thymic involution”, or the age related shrinkage of the thymus gland, which disrupts immune synchronization, resulting in a cascade of autoimmune and inflammatory processes including arthritis and androgenetic hair loss.
Chrysin as a singular agent, has been shown in studies to be poorly absorbed. Studies have also shown that when it is combined with piperine (a pepper extract), it is efficiently absorbed and utilized and its effects are comparable to Arimidex, an expensive, synthetic aromatase inhibitor. Chrysin combined with piperine results in reductions of serum estrogen (estradiol) and increases in free testosterone to a ratio typically seen in 18 year old males.
Interestingly, the reductions of estrogen stabilized at these levels with continued usage. This is significant because while excess estrogen greatly contributes to hair loss and prostate enlargement, in estrogen deficiency can contribute to hair loss, and is a noted side effect of the aggressive, antiestrogen therapies used in the treatment of advanced breast cancer, involving a combination of strong aromatase inhibitors and estrogen receptor blockers.
Finasteride (Proscar/Propecia) has been conclusively shown to increase both testosterone and estrogen while lowering serum levels of DHT. This increase in estrogen not only limits its effectiveness in treating hair loss, but, creates side effects such as impotence, gyno(breast enlargement), increased body fat, and loss of libido.
Supra Miraforte with Chrysin is a pharmaceutical grade, herbal extract, combination that contains Chrysin, piperine, maca (Peruvian ginseng), Muira puama, Nettle Root Extract, Ginger Root, and Zinc monomethione. This combination reduces excess estrogen, raises free testosterone, and potentiates the hair growth effects of 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors.
It also increases libido and reduces body fat, both potential problematic areas of concern for those using Propecia alone."
What do you guys think about this one? Do you think it could really do the job it claims? Im thinking about taking this with Dutasteride for hairloss to prevent gyno. What do ya'll think?
