What do YOU deadlift?

I'll be trying to hit my last PR...without straps this time! I plan on using my new rosin bag instead...which is really nice BTW. Makes my hands nice and dry...tacky without being sticky (which is what I was expecting). I tried it out on lat pull downs and was happy with my grip.

thanks Joker...I re-hit my DL PR last night of 235 x 1 without straps!!

...but this time I used my rosin bag and used an alternating grip. I failed on my first attempt...got stuck at the bottom and wasn't mentally there. That pissed me off so I sucked it up and pulled it the second time.

my hands hurt like hell today and I even sliced my pinky on the "crease" of my finger too. Yaaay...I have war wounds!:D My grip felt a lot better than I expeceted--even using the thicker bar. I was going to switch the bars to my favorite smaller one, but I figured I needed to learn how to do it with the big one too.

now for a new PR...;)
 
At least a week...lately 2 weeks. I usually do them first thing (since the squat rack is typically available ;)) I'll skip a week if I think my body needs more time to recover...but I have it in my head to pull 250, 275, and 300. I have just recently started 1 RM's.

My workouts haven't been the most structured, which is something I am working on. I'm trying to work around my SUN, TUES, THURS kickboxing class and FRI softball game--which makes it a little tricky.

650x1 in competition this past april.

DBcooper though can pull, hes done 765 in a meet, and almost pulled 815 a few weeks ago, he should pull 800+ this year.
