what can i add to cottage cheese?

I use frozen blue berries. I heat the berries in the microwave until warm. Then add the Cottage cheese. Heat that up until it's hot. Then add some splenda. Tastes great and is good for you.

start posting diet questions in the diet forum, I don't want to bomb you for this

add protein powder, UDO's choice and some strawberries (organic)
 
-1 bannana
-1 cup cc
-1 scoop whey
-1/2 cup ground up oats
-1/2 cup frozen fruit
-1/2 cup juice

blend until the cc curds are gone and drink. can't taste the cc at all.
 
sugar free jello
or, tomatoes
or, bananas
or, put cottage cheese over hot pierogies (Mrs T's are low fat)

Cottage cheese can be awful or very tasty, it all depends on the dairy that makes it. Try the different brands until you find one you like. You'll have to try the different grocery chains in your area. Also, I assume we're talking about low fat cc.
 
so you guys eat the cc warm or cold? sounds like it is best to microwave it then add some pineapples or add to a shake.
how long in microwave for?
 
I put sliced almonds in my cottage cheese. It gives it a crunchy feeling, and makes it a lot healthier for before bed. And some pepper.
 
Fresh cracked pepper and salt can add some flavor to it.

Also, I'm not sure what this is call but when I was a kid my mom would take a saucer and put 1 leaf of lettuce with a big scoupe of cottage cheese in the middle surrounded by 4 or 5 canned peach slices. Pretty good stuff.
 
Tuna + hot sauce + red pepper, have this every night before bed :)

I know its not what you're looking for but try some different cottage cheese the lowfat tastes ALOT better than the nofat and only has like 2g fat per serving.

Ok I am a cottage cheese buff so here goes.....

Dont know if your watching carbs....


add cilantro and put it on spinich

dried apricots and sun flower seeds ( SUPER GOOD)

peaches and any nut

No fat catalina dressing and carrots

pepper and a teaspoon of newmans lite itallian dressing, red peppers

mix with spinich or romain lettuce, veggies, tuna

pepper and a little bit of djon mustard on a veggie burger

Sliced almonds or Fiber One cereal -- changes the consistency a bit and gives the satisfying 'crunch'....
 
Sorry bit of an old thread but had to share this one cause it tasted so good...
Mix in some rolled oats , a little bit of golden syrup , and sliced banana :p
 
Have to add on this, yogart and bananas, few carbs but a tasty treat indeed!!

I think just about everything has been mentioned here but for a change:

Cottage cheese
Fat-free ricotta/cream cheese
Lemon/Vanilla Extract
Splenda to taste
 
Banana Nut:
Dymatize Elite-12 Banana Nut Whey Protein (add unflavored Glutamine, Creatine, etc. as desired)
A handful of mixed nuts (or any nuts you prefer)
1 packet of Splenda
Top with Walden Farms calorie-free Raspberry Jam

Triple Chocolate:
Your favorite chocolate Whey Protein (add unflavored Glutamine, Creatine, etc. as desired)
Two heaping teaspoons of unsweetened cocao powder
2 packets of Splenda
Top with Walden Farms calorie-free chocolate syrup

When calories are not important, I'll also add peanut butter. If calories need to be kept low, I'll subtract the nuts.
