What are your favorite seasonings to add to meats?

For dried spices I like to use granulated garlic, onion flakes, rosemary, thyme, basil, chives, white pepper, and cellery seed to almost all of my meat dishes. Not all of them together in the same dish, but I used these the most.

Fresh I like to use roasted minced garlic, chopped onions and mushrooms.

Right on!

Onion flakes, crushed red pepper, cilantro, rosemary, paprika, garlic, tabasco (not a spice though), honey, and my favorite...horseradish!

Cool Thread MrsPuddles.

Sesamo Seed
Poppy Seed
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Chipotle powder
Red pepper
Crushed black pepper
Oregano

Mmmmm...poppey seed...I haven't used that in way too long...gonna get that one on my shopping list! Thanks!

I never thought of using horseradish to cook with...gonna try some soon...maybe with a nice roast. Mmmmmmm!

The next time cooking a roast puncture and insert a clove of garlic in the roast.
mm good.
Try a multi-seasoning spice- Greek Seasoning and Mrs Dash

Anyone ever use Ginger Root? Try it if not. Love the taste of ginger in cooking.

I have one of those injection kits as well. I use it a lot to spice up my cooking with fresh herbs and spices. Of course, you'll need a "wet" base so I tend to cook with Virgin Olive Oil for the injection process. Purchase an injection kit if YOU DO not already have one. Best investment I've made!

I avoid as much salt as I can so we make our sauces.

Hubby has all his herbs/veggies growing inside now for our yearly garden! I dry a lot of herbs for winter use.

BAM!

More details! Like...how much oil, how many injections, how many pounds is the roast or whatever? I have a rotisserie over and I'd love to give that a shot with this technique!

When I cook a whole chicken I'm usually stuffing the cavity with a lot of seasonings...especially garlic.
