Western Union?

I sent my money transfer to my source, but the Western Union only needed the receiver's name and country. Is that usually the norm? My source gave me his name, address, city, and country.

Maybe all that is needed is his name and country, then the source picks it up at any Western Union?

Can't say that I have run into this. Seems to me that they always asked for complete addres and full name. It's been too long since I have messed with WU though. I use other payment methods that are cheaper and more beneficial.

Not uncommon at all. They honestly dont even need the city anymore. As long as you have the name and country your all set.

Yeah, I called Western Union to verify and they said all they needed was the receiver's name and country. They said because all the receiver needs to do is go to any western union in his country and pick up the funds.

yea someties it is different for me too bro! sometimes they want more info than others. hopefully your source accepts other, cheaper forms of payments b/c western union just rapes you don't they?

I always give the name, city, and country. But, name and country is all thats needed...............

Sometimes they do ask for the city and country. It depends on the amount, if you do it by phone, or if you do it with forms, there are 2 types. No big deal.

Usually they ask me for first name, last name, country, city, and Then I give the reciever the mtcn number. I have sent at least 20 times and never had a problem.
