this is pretty random, but i recall you or southern lord saying somewhere that doing your rows with a mixed grip really helps your grip strength after a while. I was telling EM, but wasn't sure so if you could clear that up it'd be awesome :)

I might have said something like alternating mixed grip on deads and pull ups but not on rows, rows it's not an exercise to be done with mixed grip imho.

You need help with your grip?

No updates lately just a 245lbs for 2 reps bench press PR. Been way to busy before the grand opening of my gym, it's gonna be called njrockfitness.
 
where is this gym in relation to bergen county? :) If it's not too far i'd love to go and check it out

Yes me and my partner managed to get our shit together, we checked out everything available @ the best prices with the highest quality possible, i'm even starting to be quite knowledgeable about budgets and construction. I'm living my dream bro, but that's alot of work and getting stuff done.

Yes i got to know a few guys by craigslist who handle used commercial stuff at low prices a couple other guys who are friends of friends who work with construction, electricity, air conditionig, fire department, that and alot of bargaining i even call my partner of jewish bastard lol (just to mess with him). The place has 2000 sq ft, nothing to big but we have a good benches, a squat rack, dbs up 130lbs, smith machine, cable row, crossover station, leg press, lat pulldown, leg curl, leg extensions, seated shoulder press, inclined, flat, declined, pec dec, glute, hip, hypers, ab bench, leg raises, dips, chins assisted machines, pre fixed weight barbells, 3 treadmills, five spinning bikes, a step mill and a few other stuff that i can't remember right now...

Honestly i wanted something more hardcore but we have to think about what people like if we wanna make a good impression, we will be working mainly with bartenders, barmaids, waitresses, go-go dancers, all customers who need to keep looking hot and getting even better.

You could probably pick them up free if you went down to a beer factory and explained and asked if they had any old ones you could have or buy very cheap, then fill them half way up with water and sand. Tractor tires the same maybe a farmer would give u a couple old ones and the exercises with them could be done outdoors, if the location of the gym has outdoor space...

It's not possible for us right now, but the building itself it's huge and in the future we want o expand and a area for strongman implements it's something we agreed, but first things first and we need money for a space like that.

but i live about that far away from cobracock and thinking about it 90mins is quite a long drive just for that unless jdid can drive himself?

yeah i definitely would benefit a shitload..

i would honestly love to come down and check it out. Thing is, i don't have a car (except when my dad lets me use his) and i don't think my parents would love me to go down to newark to go to a guys gym who i met on here.

my dad went to college in newark during the riots and shit, so he knows the area real well. I'll see if he would let me come up there- would be absolutely awesome :)

that is a good point my parents wouldnt let me meet up with someone i met on the internet especially if i went to his private gym lol. didnt think of it that way

next best thing video your lifts on your heaviest sets and post them up on here and get people to look at your form, thats what I do...

I'm getting into PCT and off-cycle so I'll be dedicating myself to build strength by CNS stimulating strength methods, will try to keep as much muscle as possible, but strength it's my main goal. Reps will be mostly under 5 reps with alot of sets @ +80% of RM, weither i'll do deloads or not will be decided along the way.
 
Finally back on training!

My personal training studio it's up and running smoothly.

Be posting progresses next week maybe.... goals are 315lbs bench, 495lbs deads and 405 olympic squats, all natural and just some myoplex mrp :)
