Weightlifting shoes- Where to buy?

Converse all stars are all you need. Flat shoes especially for leg days. Cross training shoes are not good when lifting heavy.

Bought Adidas Olympics from Dynamic Eleiko in Washington. Chuck Taylors/Allstar would be better on deadlifts. Some friends go barefoot just for that if gym allows it.

Addidis website usually has pairs for around 90-120 and offer free shipping at different times during the year. Also rogue fitness and there is always amazon.

I have an ankle that doesn't bend enough to go all the way down on squats without my heel coming up. So I put 1" heel lifts in my Chuck Taylors, which solved the problem. It turns out that Olympic Lifting shoes have a 1" heel lift in them. Go figure...

Decent shoes, I have a pair similar. What exercises do you plan on using them for? They are great for Olympic lifts. The balance and feel is much better...even squat in them from time to time and feels good. I stick to minimus type shoes for everything else, especially Deadlifts.

Deffinatly squats.
But yea i guess i need to stick flat to the floor for deads.(converse allstars)
What about cleans? Although a deadlift start, better balance while at shoulder shelf and upwards?
