Weight gain in ankles

Hello all,

I have wanted to ask about ankle swelling. I was coming off a long layoff from training because I had a surgery. Now I am cleared to go but I seem to be retaining water in my ankles. Seems to come and go whenever it pleases. Just looks awful. What can I do ???

Water retention that can come from a variety of things like diet and water consumption. Also electrolyte balance

Could be a number of things but start with lowering your sodium intake and drinking more water.
