Weekends!!

So annoyed with myself!

I have been half hearly trying to drop bf for the past month or so. Weekdays I would like to think my diet and training routine is fairly tight.

8am - Weetabix or Poaced eggs on granary
12am - chicken salad wrap
4pm- Greek Yougurt
8pm - chicken and veg or Ommlette.

Maybe a bit low cals but it seems to work for me at the moment.

THEN...the weekend comes and I f*ck it up. Drink too much (although trying to stick to Vodka and Diet coke now) and eat crap.

How the hell do I stop ruining things?! Any tips. Yes its all about will power but clearly right now I am lacking that so contemplating Oxy Elite purely to supress my appetite??

You pretty much answered your own question. You drink on the weekends? Nothing like a pint or two or more to mess up a diet. Willpower goes completely down the drain when you drink. Also drinking stimulates appetite so it's a double-whammy.

"Maybe a bit low cals but it seems to work for me at the moment." --It doesn't look as though it is working for you because you're sabatoging it on the weekends. Your body is going to find a way to get those cals. IMO you should up the cals., keep workouts intense and give up alcohol until you reach your goal. More veg., a little fruit (instead of alcohol, which is just sugar anyway). That will at least give you more control over the willpower factor and help you to resist effing up on the weekends. If you have a lot to lose, take a break after 6 weeks or so for a few days to a week, drink and eat and then repeat.

I mean an appetite suppressant does do it's job...but first off youare SO below maintenance, of course you're gonna wanna chew peoples legs off...you're not getting enough...

Secondly, as a very social 23 year old, I can understand the night life getting to you...but the friends I surround myself with know I go through my cutting phases, they know I don't drink when I'm on them. It's just about willpower. You have to mentally prepare yourself.

When I go out I sip water OR if I'm not at my low low carb point in my diet, I'll slide and go for a red bull (sugar free)...it offers a placebo effect. Good time without the alcohol. But even so, I cut going out in HALF if not more so I'm not tempted...

But bottom line until you're mentally in the right place, you're gonna keep failing...just have to make the commitment and stick to it. No supps for that.

I actually have a couple of friends that cycle their diets to fit in a weekend nite life and social outing
but yeah...cals too low duiring the week will wreck you too
look at the leangains site for more info on alcohol...and a diet idea in general

psizzle is right tho...youre setting yourself up for failure

Thanks ladies.

Ok so Ill increase my cals mid week, How does this look...

6am - Poached egg on Granary
9am - Weetabix
12pm -Chicken salad wrap
4pm Greek Yog
8pm - Chicken and veg

Does that seem more reasonable? Can also add on rice cakes if needs be?

Point taken on the drink, will have to cut back, simple as! And sort my fricking will power out!!!

You should be looking at fitday, it's free, and actually plugging in meal sizes, it's so easy to guess and guess wrong...

You owe it to yourself to have an accurate figure of calories.... and until you do, you're only guessing..

Just do it for a short time.. and I guarantee you'll be shocked with the result..
