George Halbert and Clay Brandenburg both bombed at the Bench for Cash. Halbert was 241 and opened with 750. Blew two shirts on attempts 1 and 2 and borrowed a shirt for the third - no good. Clay opened with 775 and tried it for 2 and then let all the stops out and tried an 800 - got it close but no cigar. John Zemmin won the $1,000 with 670!
Jamie Harris benched sunday in a small apf sanctioned meet and hoped to go 800 as well. Just got off the phone with the big man and he weighed in at 366 buthad problems with his shirt being taken out too much so he went without one. He did a strong 650 raw and took a shot at 700 but missed it. Next stop for all these guys: Arnold!
