Weed and lifting(for a friend)

I am pretty much sXe now, havn't drank in a long time and never did drugs, but I have a friend that likes to smoke pot. He keeps asking me about the effects of marajuanna on lifting and I really cant find many articles or anything addressing that. I was just wondering if anyone had seen anything anywhere about it's effects on fat metabolism, protein synthesis, strength...anything. Any help appreciated, you can IM him on AIM his screename is LiquidX8D.

People have posted about this before. The only thing it really hurts is it makes you lazy, which will make it so that you are less likely to follow a proper diet or actually lift weights.

Yea, he said that he gets a little lazy sometimes but doesnt think it is too bad as long as he eats strict. I have heard the thing about test levels too...I dont know, if you really wanna get in shape I would just give it up reguardless and spend your money a better way. Thanks for the feedback.

Until GHB and Nubain as arrived on the scene , some pro bodybuilders smoked a little pot AFTER their workoud to relax the muscles, cool down the CNS and lower adrenaline....

Mind you that these were grueling workouts (some pro's take methamphetamine for squat day, hey it's sick but this is how the freak show is run today) and that they smoked only just a little...

For me, it's great right before a workout. Whether working uppper or lower body, it has a strange affect on your mind. I'm able to disassociate myself from the pain or discomfort I'm feeling. It's almost like an "out of body" experience. Weird, I know. But it's awesome. As you're doing the heaviest squat you've done in a long time, you find yourself thinking "...hmmm, this is very uncomfortable. In fact, my quads are burning, my lower back straining..." but your mind is free and clear and just pushes the weight up. Anybody else experience this?
