Ways to increase/maximize natural testosterone- NO GEARS

Let's share our ways and methods of keepin the testosterone levels at its maximum. Doesn't have to be scientific, just what you practice or believe in. No gear, drugs and tribulus/viagra please.

Here's mine:

- Do more cardio to decrease testosterone, and when recovered the body will produce more than before (supercompensate).

- Lift heavier weights and after 45 minutes stop because the test level will decrease, and when fully recovered, the body will produce more than before.(supercompensate)

-Consume 30mg of zinc everyday.

-Eat lots of beef including the fats.

-Sleep more than 8 hours in the dark continuously.

-Minimize sex/jerking off.

-No smoking

-No alcohol

-No soy products. (or beans for that matter) and some veges like broccoli due to their phytoestrogen content.

-Peanuts are good for test levels.
 
I remember reading that sunlight can increase test levels. Kind of like the old saying that in the springtime love is in the air. More like people are getting out more after the long winter with short days and then even ugly girls look hot.

My suggestion is to use the tanning bed in the winter and get outside more in the summer.
 
i agree with the 45 minute workout test supression, the 8 hour sleep, and the and the high protein, but believe that the sex abstinence is a myth. in fact, i feel sexual release is beneficial

But releasing sperm is like releasing loads of zinc and protein and the body has to work at producing new sperm. And plus somehow after releasing, you don't feel as aggressive as before, indicating a decrease in test.

Diet composed of 30% fat, 30% of the total fat intake be saturates (may not be a good idea in general though)
Peanut butter/Olive oil good for the monounsaturates
Sleep
Testosterone is actually used to keep sperm production going, its a negative feedback loop.
Porn is good, arousal & prospect of sex increases testosterone.
When an erection occurs testosterone levels in the blood spike.
Don't overtrain & keep workouts intense and short with many compound movements
Zinc
 
Now thats something new. Watching porn will increase test but not actually jerking it off right?

And yeah, I agree with the "go heavy" especially squats.

But too much peanut butter fats is bad, I think the fats of the beef steak is bout enough for me.
 
I love peanut butter but unless its organic it contains high levels of carcinogenic aflatoxin (SP?) - may even be in the organic?? - heard this from Dr. Colgan, I'll try to dig up more info.

just my 2 cents:

cut out refined foods
eat more EFA
eat more protein
have a porterhouse/ribeye once a week
small carb loads for b-fast and post wkout
have sex
 
yeah the soy thing is BS. Phytoestrogens don't make you produce more estrogen or anything. They bind the same receptors and are like 1/1000 the strength of real estrogen.

you dont release testosterone in your sperm man
 
But your body may not produce as much (just saying, I actually have no idea how it works...)

How much protein do you lose though? ;)
 
Only ways to increase your test levels are:

1) Adequate diet (no need to go overboard on the vitamins and minerals)

2) Proper training program (large muscle group exercises, heavy resistance [85-95% 1RM], moderate-high volume, short rest intervals [30-60s]).

3) Drugs.

I suspect there were other things goin on here.

If you're not jerking off, the semen will still eventually find a way out.

Logically thinking I also tend to agree to that ....

And what are refined foods and how do they decrease test?
 
The test jumps you may get from doing these things is so minimal that I hardly see any of it being of benefit IMO :)

Yeah, but you are supposed to jerk it frequently because it leads to better prostate function, there's your tradeoff.

I thought I already posted this...but I guess i made a mistake?

But anyways...I think you're right on most of the things...BUT if you workout how I outlined, with the goal of increasing testosterone (Acutely) it will aid in the recovery and hypertrophy of the fibers.

Of course not...it's not true...it CAN'T be true. What would testosterone levels and ejaculating have to do with each other?

Semen is made up of sperm, and secretions from seminal vescicles, the prostate, and bulbourethral glands...if you don't ejaculate, sperm doesn't just sit there...it is "recycled." So your body is always producing sperm and other things anyways...regardless of whether or not you ejaculate.
 
That's true because that is the hormone that makes us horny. Even women need it to for sex drive estrogen doesn't do that. Question is that I'm horny most times but how come I'm not a big muscled monster.
 
I'm also horny most of the time such as right now, and sure as hell helps me lift much more at the gym. The good thing is that j/o doesn't do anything bad for your body, I believe it makes me even more horny, which is good. also it may be that I'm 20 years old, and I wish I was 20 for a couple more years.

SUNLIGHT. Get a lot of sunlight. if you can, try roasting your nuts in the sun. At the very least expose your back and chest. And milk. Drink a ton of milk.
