Way to Mini mini-skirt...

So I went shopping this weekend and the mini skirts this year are dam short. Like all they do is cover your bum. I am so not conservative normaly I am starting to wonder if I am getting old.

LOL! I know what you mean QT...I have a few myself & yes they are short! I have to wear lil' booty shorts just in case!!

Heh! What's funny about this is the last weekend my step-daughter came over (she's 17) she came down & had this denim mini skirt on & says she got it at Gap Kids (she's 4'8" tall & about 90 lbs) & how short it was & would you let a 10 yo wear it?? LOL I told her (jokingly) that I was thinking of not letting her wear it....then told her she needed those ruffled panties 2 yos wear!!

Pretty darn short.....and yes, I feel old!

I got some cute undies I could wear under them but dam I dunno that is pretty short.

And I thought the low cut jeans thing was starting to push the boundaries.

Obviously I'm going to be showing my age. Personally I hated hip huggers the FIRST time they came around (1960's & 70's). I think the goal of your clothes is not to be the latest fashion but to wear your fashions in a classy way. I don't think going for the $2 slut look is really attactive. Especially on a 10 yr. old. Isn't childhood complicated enough without having to deal w/ leering dirty old men as well?

If a skirt is so short that I have to worry about my undies showing, I won't wear it. I have a couple of miniskirts with the undershorts built in (kinda like a tennis skirt) and those I love. No need to wear undies with them either.

I love the way lowrise pants look on some women but they're not for me.

Sassy the low rises pants are getting crazy like way to low. I tried on a few pair of capri pants didn't like any cause the were so dam low.

I agree! I decided to go shopping for a shorter demin skirt a few months ago. I was floored by how tiny the skirts were. I like a skirt to not only cover my "entire" backside but I also like to be able to move around in it without worrying about my backside escaping the confines of the tiny skirt if I drop my keys.

Lately I'm more into black flowy dress pants and a sexy top. I'm way more comfy.
