Are you sure that you aren't talking about muscle glycogen instead of carbs? If you'r refering to glycogen, I'll go with that to the extent that yes, it will store water, but it is inside your muscle so it doesn't bloat you. Just makes your muscles full and hard. That's the premise of carb-glycogen depletion and loading. If you're saying that eating carbs makes you retain water the same way that sodium, does, I would disagree.juve said:
