Warning to the girls wanting to ride on the back of a sportbike...

i have never intentionally pulled a wheelie with a passenger. my front end has lifted maybe an inch off the ground before with a passenger, but every time i didn't attempt to coax it further into the air.

accidental wheelies do happen. however, you can hear him slipping the clutch to get the front end in the air too, so that wheelie was intentional on his part.

if she didn't know or didn't preapprove of him pulling wheelies with her on the back, the dude should be beaten to the point that his injuries make hers look like she just skinned her knee.

if she did approve of this beforehand, then they're BOTH idiots.

i bet she hangs on tighter next time. looked like she let go

This would be why I will only get on the back of a Harley.

a video like this shouldn't be your determining factor. the guy intentionally lofted the front end into the air, however whether it was with or with out her consent we do not know.

i've never attempted to pull a wheelie with a passenger, nor will i ever. i don't wheelie very well, but i could care less. bike wasn't made to ride on one wheel, it was made to ride on the edges of both.

the determining factor as to ANY bike you get on the back of should be the experience and maturity of the rider, not the type of bike. i make every effort possible to ensure the passenger's safety. i'll work the throttle, clutch, and brakes as smooth as possible in order to keep the passenger from being thrown to and from on the seat. i've seen many people with passengers that feel the need to "show off" and rip the throttle as hard as possible and brake as late as possible while the person on the back looks like they're getting punched in the face by Mike Tyson in his prime, bouncing off the ring ropes, and flying forward again for yet another blow.

even on a Hardley it's possible to throw a passenger from the back. all it takes is one screwup on the clutch between gears. you can wheelie almost anything as long as it has a gas engine and a clutch, all it takes is clutch and throttle.

what i'm trying to say is, don't knock sportbikes. sure, go ahead and blast the idiots that ride them like complete assholes, but don't knock sportbikes.

I agree. Cause Harley's are slow pieces of shit. You don't have to worry to much about that happening on a Harley.
:lmao: You are seriously delusional. There are many Harleys out there that are not only fast, but can also pop wheelies if the riders were so inclined. The crusier riders tend to be of a different mentality overall from crotch rocket riders though.
