want to add mass to obliques near rib cage

whats a good way to add some mass to my obliques around the rib cage, i want to widen myself out a little, i have a good size chest and big legs but no midsection minus a little stubborn fat.

roman chair situps (weighted) have made my upper abs explode with thickness, my abs are usually sore 2 days after doing them.

Try sideways Roman chair situps. They are hard to get in for... but tehy hit it better than anything.

Agreed. I alternate these and just normal standing side bends. Go heavy bro.

Grab a stirrup handle and put it on a lat pulldown machine. Facing the machine place the handle by your ear, either right or left. Bring your hand down to the opposite side of your body bending only at the waist and letting your abs bring the wieght down, not your arms. Come down enough to get a good squeeze. Perform same movement for opposite side. 10-12 reps for 3 sets. When that gets too light go up in wieght. That will do the trick.

link or how to do roman chair situps??

louden, I do all that good stuff already, looken for a way to directly hit them.

Agreed, twisted weighted romans, also do something for the serratus after that, like wide grip bb pullovers and one-arm cable crunches
