Walking with ankle weights

i don't agree with this type of training at all because of the injury risks

if you want to increase endurance most of your training should be LSD (long, slow distance). 40-50 minutes of slow jogging with some tempo and even less sprinting mixed in.

interval training is highly overrated and so is weight strapping, in the end you only end up injured
