Very strange injection complication. Any ideas?

Last week when I injected 1 cc of fina into my bicep and something very strange happened. The pin required slightly more force to get it in than usual. It was as if I had grazed a "dense" spot from the injection the week before. It was also more difficult than normal to push the plunger down. However, I have experienced this before without issue. Immediately after injecting, my bicep got very tight and had a very hot sensation that moved down to my fingertips within about 30 seconds. My fingertips then tingled and burned for about 15 seconds. This was accomplnied by the usual slight tren cough. My bicep proceeded to stay very tight and swollen (as if fully pumped and then some). My entire arm (forarm to delt) has been swollen since the enjection (4 days ago). The skin is thick (as if there is a bit of liquid under the skin). I think it is going down a bit every day. I don't think (read; hope) it is infected because all of the effects happened immediately after the injection (within seconds). I reason that there was not enough time for an infection to develope and then me notice it. It all just happened right away. I want to be clear that I am a very experienced injector, and have injected my bicepts hundreds of times (I did aspirate- no blood). It was an unused needle shooting fina home brew that I had shot before without issue. The injection spot is not discolored but very slightly warm (nothing close to as harsh looking as, say a t-400 or prop injection sight would look like). Any ideas?

Maybe you hit a vein and some got carried downstream in your arm?

Grasping @ straws bro... bump for more info..

You might have hit or come close to a nerve or the presure of fluid of the inject compressed/affected a nerve.

Massage and apply heat 3 times per day. I use a heat pad. If it does start to look like an infection see a doc ASAP but I think you will be fine. I would stay away from that inject site for a week or so after the symptoms subside.

as for pushing hard on the plunger, when i inject into a bicep or tricep where i have injected hundreds of times before it can be quite impossible sometimes to push it all in, scar tissue is a bitch

I think the tingiling sensation in your fingers probably indicates that you hit a nerve; As posted above apply heat to the site and massage.

As for the future; Injecting into the biceps is a delicate area so you have to be sure of the exact location you should inject in the bi's. This might help:

Dr took the words out of my mouth, the hard pushing on the plunger is from scar tissue, that is normal, as for the hot sensation I would assume that you hit a nerve or possibly injected some of the fina into a vein, that has happend to me before, even though you checked to see if you were in a vein, some still could have easily goten in, and the high glue amount and alchahol in home brew is very potent...good luck and give it another week, if still looking bad take some keflex and see how that goes.

yes sounds like a nerve my friend or possibly a vien. i am very prone to this believe it or not in my right glute. it is very vascular if you look up close and i experience pain for up to two weeks sometimes. ice and then heat works very well along with massage. the tingling makes me think a nerve was hit. if there is no heat or redness at the surface its not infected. go and put ice on it for 45 minutes. then use a heating pad or heat up a wet towel in the microwave and massage it for a while. even if it kills to do it you have to move it around
