Well, the ATF agents threatened the security of the Branch Davidians, didn't they? Do they have a right to self-defense? 4th Ammendment protects them, as I think the gov't did not have a signed search warrant.

Correct me if i'm wrong on this though.

I am usually 99% in favor of law enforcement officers, but I think Waco and Ruby Ridge were total debacles and they both a disgrace to the men and women working in law enforcement.

so how did they threaten the security? about a month ago this fat cop pulls me over and gives me a ticket for no front licence plate. I called it bullshit but he was just doing his job. The ATF were just doing their job in the FEB raid. Also you don't need a search warrant with probable cause. I don't know if they had that or not, but what ever.

how does being the victim of a raid put you in the position to fire upon officers.

A majority of this information I have is from independent sources outside the conglomerate media. (though it can all be corraborated properly) You as you admitted only know what the media tells you because that's as far as you take it.

During the initial first raid they were not given the chance! For some reason ATF started firing at the door, there was no "knock and talk" or anything like that! ATF drove up in trucks covered with tarp, if Branch Davidians wanted to kill them there, they could have! A firefight ensued after ATF agents fired... ATF agents eventually called for cease-fire and walked away after running out of ammo and such! Branch davidians could have slaughtered them all point blank if they wanted to but they did not! Standoff ensued and more Brand Davidians were killed with tanks smashing in buildings and intermittent gunfire leading up to the incineration event.

For whatever reason the ATF fired first.... if they wanted to provoke the Branch Davidians because they had nothing on them, I do not know if they meant to kill the members then...perhaps just to provoke them for justification...

well i think a clear answer on this question is greatly needed in order to understand the events that followed. It just leaves too much up in the air without the knowledge of why ATF fired.

Ajtomasi, not all quesitons can be answered in ANY situation...not a reason to dismiss it wholesale....less evidence could be used to convict anyone else in a murder trial but not when the fox is guarding the henhouse.

Darktooth is correct too! There are ex ATF and FBI that agree publicly that this was a disgrace!
