Problem is, Velvett, those aren't your thoughts on men. You're a poetic soul, a rarity. You see the world through a kind of clear glasses that few people have, and because of that you recognize qualities and ideas in the kind of man that you would seek in a soulmate that few people even know exist.
Years ago I knew a brilliant young actress. Her heart was in the process of beign ripped out of her body. For all of her great work - she was being fired off a top TV series - and she didn't understand why. I knew why. The writers on the show were idiots. They did a final episode where they cut together all of her scenes... and as they watched it themselves they said, "Oh, my God... we f-cked up. This girl is brilliant." She was, and she knew it, and she couldn't reconcile with the pain of being fired by mediocre minds. She cut off her hair. Dyed it black, and moved back to Utah to work in a 7-11. Her pain and her brillince were phenomanal. I told her after she left, "You have to live with a double edged sword. In order for you to be able to do the things you do - you have to see through your eyes - you have to feel what you feel. You can't do it without feeling it."
Velvett, you don't see men through dismal eyes. You just feel the pain of encountering so many mediocre spirits.
Angels recognize you.
