can I still use the 40/40/20% p/c/f% when eating only vegetables for my carbs? or am I just wasting my time
also are beans good?
am asking because some one told me that starch is found in white rice white bread and when I was researching beans it ses that its rich with starch

Veggies are fibrous carbs and potatoes rice etc are starchy carbs.Fibrous carbs ain't gonna do shit (except maybe make u feel fuller), veggies are mostly water and if ur taking a good multi vitamin then ur micro's are already covered. Don't waste ur time and researched more into iifym

thanx man but I think I like the vegetables only for carbs
so far I ate 5 meals with vegetables only for carbs and I feel good
I think IIFYM only works for obese ppl since they see a difference as soon as they quit drinking pepsi and they burn more calories than the lighter ppl when moving around cuz the more u weigh the more u burn to move your self..but the ones with 13-11% fat and stopped burning fat with reducing rice and breads than they should start eating vegetables for their carbs cuz breads and rice causes inflammation and makes u look bloated and it also raises insulin allot more than vege and allot more other reasons

If you are looking for carbs that are not starch based, stay away from breads, pastas, white potatoes ans white rice. Use good low GI complex carbs like sweet potatoes, brown rice, and oatmeal

I did that already for a while
now I only wanna eat vege for my carbs
u said u were doing that too in another thread
so how many % of your daily intake for carbs do u eat?

daily calorie = protein/?/fats %

What I do is on cardio or rest days, my carb intake is very low and limited to mostly just green veggies. My macros change a lot based on whether its a workout day or not. Workout days are moderate to high carb, and cardio/rest days are low to zero carb days

What are ur goals here monstertruck? Are u trying to cut or maintain current bodyfat and add muscle, what's do u want to accomplish and do u have a time frame?

I did a 8-9 week cut and reduced all my carbs to essentially green veggies only and got fantastic results. I lost on avg 2.5 lbs/wk of fat. Over 8 wks all my lifts either stayed the same or went up. I was doing at least an your of cardio a day too tho. This may not work for everyone but it sure as shit did for me.

I did the same this week reduced my daily calories to around 1800 cuz it was a week off and the ratio was 50/30/20
and all my carbs came from vege and when I went to the gym yesterday I went from 201 to 196 pounds (even tho I was waking up at night eating bread) and all my lifts were the same :)
am gonna keep at it with only vege and increase calo on work out days and decrease on off days and will only eat brown bread or sweat potatoes after workouts
I will also add cardio next week or 2 for 20 minutes
I switched my beans from canned beans to raw in bags cuz I think the sugars in the canned beans was making me crave carbs at night
I dont have a time frame but if I get lean enough till my next blast with in 2 months or three I will do the 40/40/20 ration and maybe get 10% of my carbs from breads or rice I will see how things go

u know what
yesterday my work out was front and back squats and I was aiming for 12 reps and even tho I took a week off I still didnt run out of breath so I think I will be fine adding cardio tomorrow but I will start with 10 min than after tomorrow will do 15min
