Um for someone who claims others are ill informed, you're definitely not updated on some things.
Thimerosal (mercury-containing agent) was removed entirely from children's vaccines - mumps, measles, chicken and small pox, polio, hepatitis, etc. with the exception of some uber small amounts in only certain flu shots, which aren't mandatory for school or anything like the rest. But so what? Most of the parents who get their kids that shot have kids who are at an increased chance of serious effect should they get the flu, and 90% of the kids who died from the flu this year did *not* have the flu shot. Sounds worth it.
Just because some parents exist out there that do things worse than another bad parent, doesn't mean the other bad parent isn't wrong. That's child's logic. You said yourself in the following post, if you eat vegan *correctly* you can get all the nutrients you need from that type of diet. Same goes for people who eat meat, you have to do it correctly. But no matter what diet you choose, vegan/vegetarian or not, if you feed your child in a way that caused them to die thanks to their diet lacking nutrients, you suck as a parent as much as the addicts and smokers.
For the record though, low blow about some people here and their children. I feel like I know a good deal about a lot of people around here and how they raise and feel about their children, and I can't think of one person on here who's not doing a great job and isn't busting their ass to be and provide the best for their kid.
