Var and menstrual cycle

Can anyone tell me about Var and no menstrual cycle? My spouse is beginning to panic it is day three of her cycle and no blood. Pregnancy is very unlikely, been on var for 3.5 weeks, now @ 20mg. Someone please help me out. So I can ease her brain

i'm not a woman so never experienced it but yeah steroids can throw off hormones

If it's an issue - don't use var.

Amenorrhea is a very common side effect when we girls use steroids. Mostly because there are much, much more androgens circulating in the body. When we use male hormones we cause hormonal imbalances in our female bodies. It's not natural for the female body to have high levels of androgens.

This also tends to happen when women cut down to very lean body weight.
