am i correct in saying valium is just a longer acting version of xanax.

if not can somebody fill me in.

i also read that valium lowers cortisol i believe.
and its good to take to get in a deep sleep which is when u grow the most.

Xanax chills me out and I can still function fine. Valiums chill me out but make me a bit more tranquilized. I love em both but I take either one depending on what I am doing and how I want to feel. Right now I have both in my system so I feel fine. I like to stack em sometimes.

Valium makes me groggy the next morning/day if taken for sleep. Xanax does not.

valiums and xanax are the shit. I love them. Take two 10mg blues and you'll feel nice. It's nothing like painkillers (codeine, hydrocodone, etc) though. Those are even better!!

I have taken both at various times. The are both Benzodiazepines. Xanax has a considerably shorter half-life than valium (see below). So Xanax at least for me is a better sleep aid, less chance of grogginess the next morning...

valiums are in the benzodiazepine family. Are you thinking of something else?

I take trazodone 100mgs and just a quarter of a valium every night or I can't sleep, but i have read that valium actually can stop you from going in to 4th rem of sleep.

Well trazodone is a centrally acting triazolepyridine derivative antiepressant chemically and structurallly unrelated to tricyclic, tetracyclic or other antidepressants. Potentiates serotonin effects by selectively blocking its reuptake at presynaptic membrances in the CNS. Does not stimulate the CNS and causes fewer anticholinergic genitourinary and neurologic effects as compared with other antidepressants. Produces varying degrees of sedation in normal and mentally depressed patients, increases total sleep time, decreases number and duration of awakenings in depressed patient and decreases REM sleep. Has anxiolytic efect in severely depressed patient. In my opinion it works better than any other medicine including ambien. I take trazodone with just a quarter of a valium. I also have to be sure to drink a full glass of water when I take the trazodone it seems to work better. For me if I don't drink a full glass of water it seems to cause some little agitation in my nerves themselves (not meaning nervous) and it causes me to jerk when I am falling asleep. So be sure to drink plenty of water. And the 1/4 of a valium helps with that. I hope this helps. pittbull2

I was thinking of ordering some from my guy. Does it work the same night you take it or do you need build up blood levels for it to be effective?

I suffer from anxiety at 22. What the fuck right. I've taken 3 cycles of only deca/winny/clen. But GHB got the best of me during that time. When I finished I was 6'2, 215lbs., of pure muscle, I've always been real lean when it comes to fat. I suffer anxiety, supposedly (according to doctors) because of PTSD, post tramatic stress disorder. To get to the point, I'm fucked up in the head because of GHB and other drugs. I am prescribed and am supposed to take 1mg KLONOPINS three times a day, as well as 0.5 mg Xanax every four hours or as needed, and Effexor anti-depressent.
Point Being! Klonopin is not very addicting, it's the Xanax you got to worry about if abused, I get 50 at a time and barely take them. I drink on both and am now only 185lbs., which has nothing to do with K-pin but ANXIETY WILL TAKE ITS TOLL ON ANYONE WHO HAS DONE ANABOLICS.
