Did more reps today on push jerks, need strength and endurance for nationals.

155 for 5, 30 sec rest 155 for 5, close grip(index finger on smooth)
2minutes rest
165 for 5, 30 sec rest, 165 for 5, close grip
2 minute
175 for 5, 30 sec rest, 175 for 5 first 5 close grip, 2nd five mod grip

195, 205, 215, 225 all for singles:) big pr's on 215 and 225

strict press, mod grip,
135 and 155 for 5

inclines
135x3
185x3,
225 x 1
245x1
265x2
225 2x5 all close grip except 265 mod grip

dumbell floor press
parallel grip
70 3x10 with 10 sec rest between sets, never sat the dumbells down

lat,bi,tri ab accessory work

no direct grip stuff becase we fried that at b'folds yesterday:)
i also worry i overtrain my grip because it is weak
 
damn that is a solid workout man. How is the viking press coming along? I am thinking of the same scheme you did today for my workout
 
have not done viking since clints, may do it once or twice before nationals, but i know the one there will feel nothing like his so i am just trying to get my overhead press stronger and seem to be doing it
last week i did straight 5x5, this week i wanted more endurance and think i got it
those 5 rest 30 and 5 more are rough

You should have heard Cheese and I trying to train today...lol. Ouch...ugh...ahhhhh...I can't pick up the 5....

nice workout man...you just keep bringin in the pr's dont ya..ya killin those ohp's man..you wont have nothin to worry bout at nationals. i know that had to be painful bc my entire back is killin from yesterday. how often are you training grip now?

Good job on the ohp. Are you realy an amateur bodybuilder? Thats what is says on your little dealy on the left side of the screen (don't know the name). I didn't know I was working out with a bodybuilder. I wish I could be an amateur bodybuiler.
