UK gear expert Mick Hart suffered a heart attack in the early hours (2am) of Thursday morning

He was rushed to hospital and placed on the 48hr critical list, thankfully he is currently stable and reported to be doing calf raises (seriously LOL) at his bedside not to mention chatting up the female nurses

Mick has been involved with bodybuilding for years and has forgotten more than most will ever know yet he is one of the most unpretentious upfront blokes you could meet and for years has taken calls personally from anyone that rings his office for advice

He is the author of the Laymans guide to Steroids, Musclemag writer and publisher of the No Bull Collection magazine

Well, we know his son didn't abuse...but I think Mick may have done more than he'll admit to in his prime. It sucks, that's the last guy I'd figure to see having heart probs even at his age.

Possibly, but given Micks past history re:his GHB trouble whereby he is on record as stating he used to buy the stuff in Jerry cans to feed his addiction and then acknowledging the fact he could have killed someone whilst driving his car completely off his tits on GHB I dont think admitting to handfulls of D'boll or Grams of test per week would worry the guy at all

This is the guy that is upfront as they come, whether his GHB use, his extra marital affairs, whatever

Mick has stated before now that he has 'at times' used too much gear and at others too little, take that to mean what you want but I dont think there is a confession of systematic use of 5 grams per week for years on end about to emerge

Of course he could have used lots of gear for years on end but given the above points I dont think its the case

Its just a relief the guy is stable at the moment and looks to be on the mend :)​

Have you guys actually read any of his "books"? It is some of the most poorly composed literature I have ever seen. It's like they were written by a dyslexic 10 yr old.

Just because he is not a good writer don't mean shit about what his knowledge on the subject is. Lot's of top selling novelists have others write their books for them because they can't compose a sentence. But they do know what their talking about.

I try not to wish bad things on people...karma and all. I certainly hope Mick recovers just fine. But, personally in the dealings that I had with him, I found him to be very arrogant.

Mick gave me some advice years ago on the phone, so i hope he gets better soon.

I do however agree with the previous guys post that his books arent well written, ( i also dont think he shouldnt have been flamed for saying so, altho i appreciate the guy wanted to defend Mick)i have The Laymans guide 1 here somewhere and theres a few phrases/sentences that confused the fuck outta me, - 'No far through than a McCains oven chip' is one of them i think-but thats by the by, get well soon Mick.

English, the greatest language ever, usage should never be taken lightly. Understanding some basic facets of grammer allow your reasoning to become art or rhetoric. Whether sophetic or poetic, you will know when you did it right when you actually convince yourself that what you wrote is not total bullshit.
 
I think what sleazyforger is trying to say is that Mick has been very successful so there must be a few people out there who read his shit. (So he has lots of money coming though his gold letterbox to buy lots of gear --woo-hoo!!). As for me I found his writings to be helpful early in my time around this shit. Granted, he is no ALR. But no matter how arrogant he might be (I dont know personally), I wish him a speedy recovery. Heart attacks not nice to wish upon anyone, ya know?

On a personal level, I wish him a speedy recovery and I can only imagine how worried his family are. Its a tough time and I hope he pulls through 100%

On a professional level, I found his writings bored the absolute arse off me and found his manner difficult to "roll with" and it doesn't surprise me that Bros who know him described him as arrogant.

can i just say, mick heart is a pretty cool guy dispite being my uncle, lol
the man pretty much know's his shit,. i kinda lost touch with that part of my family as i became a druggy as a kid, but i have nothing but praise for him,.
im just getting back into training my self and have been thinkin about askin for a bit of help and advise from him,.

Why did you say haters can fuck off, lol? Wouldn't you say steroids contributed to this? I can't say much, I don't get checked out enough, but I only take 1/10th of what some dude said this guy takes.

Regardless, I would never wish anything bad to happen to someone I don't know....especially that. I hope he gets well soon and monitors stuff a bit more.

Funny thing is, I'm mid cycle and went to the doctor about something else and he ordered me a big fucking blood panel, lol. I guarantee it will look messed up.
