Do you think it was because of the cast I had just taken off made the hair turn dark?.....” I say “ I don’t know hun, I’m not sure what makes hair turn dark, perhaps you should just bleach it…” then I go back to watching TV

She turn to me 5 minutes later and screams at me that I could care less if she was dead and I would just walk over her corpse! She then storms out of the room and up to the bedroom to sulk…. WTF? I guess its my fault she is turning into a hairy bitch?..... UGHHHH

You guys are both really good guys....

Chatboards, golf, shopping, work etc and so on are very EASY ways for MARRIED couples to ignore each other. It hurts a lot when your spouse alienates you, whether the diversion is conscious or not. Believe it or not, the mere fact that you have a few small children make it MORE than easy to ignore each other and NEVER put each other first... I am speaking from experience.

Hopefully, someday my ex and I can be friends and do "the family functions" thing TOGETHER (A girl can dream, can't she?). People often ask, "Gee wouldn't it be hard to be in the same car/room with each other... wouldn't you fight?" The answer is really quite simple. NO - with four kids it is VERY EASY TO IGNORE EACH OTHER!

there's really no winning in this area - best you can do is make a huge, foolish, transparently fake show of love in public (ideally in front of her friends) once or twice a year and hope that carries you through - the more public, the better, and bonus points for imitating a scene from a meg ryan movie or a de Beers commercial.
