I can't believe it. After Dana White called the Pride promotors "Fucking idiots" they merge. Thought they would be pissed off about that. Some good fights coming now.

Pride were getting into financial problems though, that is probably why they sold. I also noticed a few of the head honchos at pride have handed in there resignation.

I would have though they are going to keep everything as it is, but just cross the fighters over for matches. I really cannot fuckin wait. This month has been quality as a MMA fan, this and the fact that the UFC has events in England finally (which i got my tickets for). I wouldnt mind Vanderlai was muttering some shit how Pride is better and thats why he was not gonna fight chuck on the last event, bet he feels abit of a dick now.

I've read the rules format will be the same as the UFC. I can't quote a reliable source for that information though.

fedor isn't even in pride anymore, he's with bodog fighting no names. This will hamper him greatly when he figures out his skills are not evolving and then decides to jump to the UFC where the best have been fighting each other.
