UFC guys on roids

I have no idea what ufc is but I would reckon that none of them are on the juice. Also, no professional athletes are on. Barry Bonds is not on. Oh, and wrestlers, they are natural too. As far as bodybuilders go, I think Arnold might have done a cycle of dbol/primo, but I seriously doubt any bodybuilders since him have done any anabolic steroids.

I think this is a testimony to nutrition and working out. And creatine. Oh, and Cell-tech.

I heard Coleman was on creatine. Not talking about Ronny here, he's all naturall because he's a policeman officer :smash:
He's a true role model.

kevin randellman, frank and ken shamrock, mark coleman, mark kerr, ummmmmm......maybe tito ortiz....cant really tell though

well i can tell you guys from some inside info i've gotten (i myself train shootfighting) that every other athleete use steroids, or have used... i mean, you get so many advantages with it, so why not use it?

Id say Bout 75% of them are. I went to a wedding a few months ago and spoke with some guys from the hammer house and they told me every body there was on them. Kevin Randleman was on anadrol and test. And who knows what mark is on. Looks to me like winni.

I'd guess Gary Goodridge is on the juice - that guy either has an advanced case of gyno or some real sucky genetics

What's funny to me is there was this big post on how TxLonghorn should be a moderator because of how helpful, and knowledgable he is. How he goes out of his way to help the new guys and answers everything honestly. And here on this post he flames this newbie and gives him a bunch of sarcastic bullshit. Way to go Txlonghorn you got my vote. What a joke!!!!

Hey hey hey, that wasn't a flame buddy. Tx has my vote any day. He is helpful and funny at times. You shouldn't go casting judegment on someone from one post you read. If you read a post saying how helpful he is...don't you think that it might be true if several people are saying so....

Maybe it's because such speculative bs posts can be found in the depths of the search function, and all result in a resounding "we don't know."

In the UFC Ken Shamrock is a admitted steroid user , Mark Coleman , Mark Kerr was but now is'nt he actaully dropped very very quickly from 250 lbs down to 220lbs when he came off steroids. Kevin Randleman is on , a guy called Shawn Sherk ,
Vitor Belfort was ...belfort was always a great 190lb athlete ..then in the space of 3 months between events he ballooned up to around 220-230 he lost stamina coordination ands got his ass kicked .Then he learnt from his mistakes and went back down under 200lbs ...then he kicked ass and looked sharp again. Sadly has has ballooned recently again for his fights in Pride a Japanese NHB event which most of the top fightiers now compete in.

Even the always thin and lanky Royce Gracie recently used steroids to get his weight up for a heavyweight tournament in Pride ....he got his ass handed to him by a Japanese fighter by the name of Sakuraba who has also beaten 3 other gracie family members. Steroids and NHB fighting are really not a good mix and history has proved it , haveing 8 years of jiu jitsu under my belt I can definately say that I was much better lighter and whenever I bulked I lost too much speed and co ordination to make the extra size worth while.

Anyone wanna talk NHB or any boxing or martial arts start a thread down in the sports forum , I'd love to have a few good dicussions on the topic as I am a fighting fanatic.

Gear is the staple of many NHB fighters' diets. Including myself:D

It was funny to see Mark Kerr blow up so quick then shrink again

Luca, you actually lost speed when juicing??

Could spend all day listing em all ..Evan Tanner is another and in my opinion one of the only fighters it has realy helped a lot.
Oh yeah Don Frye as well he recently made a comeback to NHB in Pride about 4 weeks back. He was a 220ish fighter in the UFC then he left to do Pro Wrestling in Japan and got up as high as 270 at one point. Thai , yeah bro I am not a huge guy maybe never will be ,I fought mostly around the 170-180lb mark and when I would bulk up even as little as 5kgs it had a direct effect on my hand speed which was lightning fast at lighter weights around 170lbs . On the flip side I did find that extra size and strength helped my shooting a lot. I found the extra size is also a hinderance trying to manuevure for submissions from the bottom as well . You had any NHB fights bro ?

Luca

I know for a fact that Kevin Randellman, and Tito Ortiz are using!! I wrestle against both these guys. One at the Junior College level and the other at the NCAA level and at the U.S. Nationals in Vegas a number of years ago.

Those guys were big back then, but holy shit, their HUGE NOW!! I wouldn't step on the mat with those guys now. Fucking Juice Heads!!!!!!!!!!!! God I love them.

The Key in NHB fighting is not to get big but to get good lean muscle mass, adding 10lbs usually wont hurt your coordination in Mixed Martial Arts, but getting too heavy usually ends up putting you on the bottom of the next highest weight class which is just asking for an ass beating.

Well the UFC does not drug test so i think most of the fighters are on or at least have used them. I know a few and I'd say 2 out of 3 use.

I went to highschool with a certain UFC middleweight and he wrestled at 142 or something like that at junior nationals as a senior. I know when he is off weason, as it were, he will climb to almost 220...Way to go Dave!

Don Frye got fucking huge!! Mark Coleman used to be bigger than him, not any more.

There are exceptions. You think Fred Ettish is a juicer?!? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Poor guy must have gotten scammed bigtime.

Oh did he? and how do you know that (used roids)?

And Sakuraba is a middleweight

And I believe that the Gracie fight with Sakuraba went for almost 90minutes and the towel was thrown in due to exhaustion. I'd hardly call that 'getting his ass handed to him' . Looked like a pretty close fight to me

LUCA BRASI

Young Deltman is right. The fight was over 90 min. and if you take a look at that entire fight you'll see that Sakubura tapped in the second or third round but the ref missed it. He even went to Gracie's lockerroom after the fight and admitted that he tapped and said he'd give Royce a rematch so what the fuck are you talking about? Gracie injured himself in the fight and there was no point in really going on so they threw in the towel eventually. Basically, this fight was over in the first few rounds. Saku is a good fighter but him handing Gracie his ass, don't think so bro...

That information about Royce is wrong, there are no weight classes in pride, nor in pride GP, and Royce weighed in at 187lbs, the same weight as usual. And there were other guys who weighed slightly less- Shoji, Sakuraba etc

If you'll watch the video CAREFULLY, you will see that sakuraba taps only TWICE, not three times, and he did this because he was joking around playing mind games with his opponent as usual-he says this in several post fight interviews. Royce's corner threw in the towel because Royce had a broken foot, you may recall. Royce was also saved by the bell when he was caught in a full kneebar at the end of one of the rounds, I think rnd 2?
