tuna in a can

I love eating tuna in a can, but now I have found out they come in vegetable oil. is there a difference from the veg oil to the water? is it just preference? I like the taste of tuna in veg oil, not the other stuff, eww, but if it isn't good, I will switch back to the tuna in water.

i dun think vege oil is very good for you

just buy the tuna in water and add a tablespoon of either olive oil or flax if you have some :)

TPC - Go with the water man. All you have to do is compare the nutrition facts on each can. Look at the calorie and fat differences.

definitely w/out the oil

Get it w/out the oil and add flaxseed oil or olive oil to it. Traditional vegetable oils are detrimental to your health and are liked to many forms of heart disease and cancer. They're not natural in the diet, turn rancid easily which is why poisonous detergent is added to the oil, to extend shelf life. One thing, if your concerned about your health I'd avoid canned foods altogether.
