Are any of you guys making Tuna Buna?
I got put on to this dish while in jail for a couple of months and have been making it at home since. Any of you try it ever?

I eat a lot of tuna because it's a cheap, convenient and easy low fat protein source but there are much better carb choices then ramen noodles.

Ramen noodles are basically just white flour. Wheat is very inflammatory in the body and there is pretty much zero nutritional value in ramen noodles.

Rather then ramen noodles, I would have the tuna with brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potato etc. Something like that.

If you mix 2 cans of tuna, 1 cooked sweet potato and 1-2 whole eggs in a bowl with some salt, you can make an awesome sort of 'mock' crab cake. Mash the ingredients together in a bowl and then fry them up in a pan.

I've never heard of it.. tell us more about it

I'm a big advocate of eating fatty fish twice a week. it is full of DHA and omega 3's. I am not a fan of tuna out of can though. that is a great way to get food poisoning and that is far from being fresh fish

I have never heard of it either but do eat tuna quite often. It is something that only takes a minute to prepare and is very easy to throw in a salad or just eat with some mustard. Nice clean protein.
