Mtv's True Life Series will be following people "addicted" to Steriods :worried: Jan. 12th around 9 or 10pm can't remember.

DAMN IT! They better show the antithesis of the whole "story" and not just the negative... maybe air something like the HBO special after, perhaps before to make sure people watch it that are already tuned-in to the station.

I'll be one of the people interviewed on the show. I talk a lot about how steriods have destroyed my life. How it started so innocent in high school, but now I suck cock in dark alley ways for that next tab of dbol. Ok, so I'm just kidding, but I wouldn't doubt the show will be full of mental fuckups who blame their shit life on roids. MTV is a big propaganda machine enlightening little minds by showing them all that is evil in this world. What happened to the music videos and Headbangers Ball? TV sucks.

guys common, don't be too critical. Steriods are dangerous. And there are some freaks out there who forget how to enjoy there life and are all about steriods and body building. I am pretty sure they are going to document a guy 180lbs, with 5%bf, and kidney and heart problems and a miserable life.

Kids need to know this stuff is not play things.

Most of you do your research tirelessly, and make decisions smartly, and are already resposible adults, you know what you are doing. People like me need your help. For guys who don't have your guidance, its mtv, its better than nothing.

Someone is narrowminded enough to hate responsible people on gear, they are just one of the other stupid fucks lying around.

I strongly recommend that one should keep their cycles on the DL. aka discreet.

I know a lot of idiots in my gym who rant about being on riods. Don't do that and the rest is fine, just lift guys, eat and be smart. Thats all.
 
I just saw the preview for it on MTV. It's definitely going to be a basher. Half way through they showed a TOMBSTONE, and how these guys got addicted to "building muscle so fast."

There are two sides to every story....Im sure MTV will try and show both ...I hope....Like most of you said, the meadia tends to show the controversial side a lot more....the US Government is real shitty about certain things.
I love being European, everything flies there. Im kind of curious to watch it though...its really easy to show the negative side of roids since so many idiots dont do them right and fuck it up for all the smart guys who know their shit....I used to be an idiot about AAS and be an ignorant retart who bought into all that made up bullshit about steroids that they teach in school. My boyfriend got me educated now and I have no problems giving him a shot in the ass...Im not cycling anything right now but I will do a 10wk Var cycle (start w. 5mg and move up to 10 if no sides) for my upcoming show....I have to admit, steroids fuck women up royaly, I mean they can easily talk about roids like that and show just how bad it is....a pretty girl can become a nasty man looking thing with boobs LOL..I know they also do a lot of hard work and training but I think that shit should be for men only....It mights just be me but those giant beastly women scare the shit out of me!

I saw the previews yesteday.. my GF was watching TV with me.. and I was laughing so hard inside. Like the rest of us here, I hope it gives a positive perspective on juice. (highly doubt it though) Fuck, if my GF watches it with me, then I am screwed if she ever finds out...lmao.

Im going to watch it most likely. If they are going to give a negative outlook on AS rather than the facts because of all the young kids that watch MTV, I at least hope that they answer some important questions, like whether or not you can drink winny. If we could just get MTV to let everyone know on national television that you can fucking drink winny, no one knows Arnold's exact cycle details, and no one gives a shit about whether or not Brad Pitt juiced for fight club, we could cut out half of the posts that newbies will be starting.

1. A guy who looks abuot 6' 190 and talks about how he is huge

2. Some guy who looks like total shit, doesn't even look like he works out injecting his delt saying "Here we go"

3. The Gibraldi kid, one of the 3 kids whose parents decided to blame steroids for their kid's suicide. (reaaaaaaaaally sad in its idiocy.)

YES i agree that steroids are dangerous to some extent if you don`t know what youre doing, and YES steroids are NO NO for Kids, BUT

IF used wisely, whit a good diet, training and rest regimen, along whith at LEAST one bloodwork test yearly, i can`t see whats the big deal.

In relation to Narcotics, AAS should not even be mentioned when it comes to dangers.

What constitutes "abuse" is obvious relative between men & women, however they can both fuck up --- women can blow the balance of testosterone to the point of pushing androgeny, but for men, they are messing w/ their base hormone levels and that can be very similar to women trying to find the correct balance of estrogen / progesterone in a birth control pill - e.g. depression, etc.

And the end of the day, it is still education and paying attention to your health, your diet & your training before putting all your expectations on the drugs.

The HBO thing was interesting. The one doctor guy who totally opposes steroids didnt' give a solid response to "why not". There are degrees of abuse and use for the wrong reasons & yes you do need to pay attention to the behavioral / mood results of it as well as the health impacts (e.g. high blood pressure, cholestrol, etc.), but it was interesting seeing somethign that looked like some real reporting vs. Katie Couric saying "OMG STEROIDS ARE KILLING ARE CHILDREN!".

Agreed! Unfortunately, steroids actually help people make a legit living. All the IFBB pros out there. it's actually a "sport' that revolves around Juice!!
 
I saw something on tv I can't remember what channel but it actually showed the positived of steroids and talked to a bunch of guys and some doctors that said most if the stuff we hear every day on tv is from a bunch of misinformed people talking about something they have no idea what they are talking about. I want to say it was on the discovery channel.

LMFAO I know I have seen this commercial like 10 times it looks absolutely stupid. In many of the "True Life" shows on MTV they usually show both sides. I personally want to blow up the MTV's studio because now that my girlfriend has seen the close-up of the tombstone without even seeing the damn show.... she is telling me not to start another cycle... so I am going to have to hide it from her... Look what MTV does to people it fucks the good ones over who know the truth about this kind of stuff...

Everytime my girlfriend sees this damn commercial she gives me these real beaty eyes and just storms off for like 10 minutes til she cools down. last night she said she hopes she doesnt have to visit my gravestone I am like wow your one of those people that helps MTV get these kind of ratings sweetheart.
