trt dose and cholesterol

Hi guys, I'm 52 years old and I will go on trt at 200 mg a week for a few months, I missed to tell my doc I have high cholesterol and I wonder if there are any risks of my cholesterol getting higher, thank you.

Yes there are and these risks should be taken into account when choosing TRT. I would suggest reevaluating your dosage. 120-160mg might work just as well and may even give you a better lipid profile then say 200ng

yes your cholesterol will rise on steroids.

if you have high cholesterol fix your lifestyle first. also trt isn't a few months, it is long term

Low testosterone can also cause poor lipid profiles.

Is this self prescribed TRT or given to you by a doctor? I've seen a lot of these I'm on TRT for a few months posts around here.
