No problem bossman....What your doc said is the theory, my original TRT doc told me that there are ways, but I'm not a risk taker & I'd be skeptical.

Gotcha, I'm pretty concerned about the fertility deal myself.

If you don't mind my asking what does your TRT look like and how long did it take you and your doc to figure out what worked well for you?

I am on trt and much like you my doctor started me off on 100 mg every 2 weeks after 2 months he checks my bloods again and asked how I felt. As you can guess it did pretty much nothing so he moved the dose up to 100 EW and the process goes pretty much the same until you and your doctor reach a comfortable level for the both of you. Keep in mind some docs are new to the whole male hormone therapy and for this reason are cautious and may not understand proper dosing. They all go off the low normal high normal charts some docs will let your bloods go up around 1200 and some docs want to play with the doses until they get you normal. Or what they consider normal my doc wants me under 800 . The fertility is not an issue for me I have had a vasectomy so can't help there but I do know having low t makes you feel horrible and like a different person so how ever you have to get your level up it will make you feel better

One shot, one kill. 200 mg's of cyp a week. Hated leaving him when I moved to another part of the US.

my trt is self administered as docs in Australia are scared of trt and wouldnt give it to me eveb after 4 blood tests between 170ng/dl- 300ng/dl. i started at 200mg of test e and have bumped it down to around 175mg per week split into 2 pins per week

100 mg's every other week? That will do more harm than good. Let me re-phrase that it will do NOTHING to help you.

HCG no, but you do need an AI as part of your regime.

Once you go on TRT, there's no going back (probably) it's like the mafia; once you're in, you're in for life. You may also not be able to conceive, so decide if you want a family someday.

that doc is hurting more people than helping. maybe its his plan so you need to go back more often? hes a dumbass regardless! get a new doc if you say you want weekely shots of 100mg ew and you have done your research and talked to people and know that optimal dose is 80-150mg ew, and eow dosing will cause less stable levels. if he talked back or denyes it at all then tll him well its been nice trying to work with you but I need to find another doctor that knows what they are doing when it comes to STABLE hormone replacem ent therapy, just because it can have residual effects for 2-3 weeks doesnt mean thats how you dose it, dose by half life etc.

I'll def be asking the dr. to up the frequency to 100mg/week before I start.

What are your guys thoughts on adding HCG? The not being able to have kids thing is the only thing that really gives me pause about starting TRT.

100mg is still shit imo. 150 minimum of test e. one of our old mods was on 175mg of test prop for trt from his doctor which is the equivalent of about 220mg of test e. no trt is better than shit trt
