I just started Bill Starr's 5x5 intermediate on Monday. I started off a little light so I can reach personal goals in week 4, as I was told but I have a question about the triple on Friday. Since I started out lower in weight, I can easily perform the triple at 2.5% more weight than I did on Monday, probably upwards to about 9 times. Should I stop at 3? Keep going to five? Or go to failure (about 9 reps)? I know it probably doesn't matter much but just curious.
