TRIED to shop. I HATE CLOTHS!!!!

Ok today I went shopping and may I just say that NOTHING FIT RIGHT!!! 5/6 's were way too big on my hips and waist... 3/4's fit but were a little too tight on the quads.

Tops -- forgetaboutit! I had a fit in the dressing room. EVERYTHING was tight on arms, back, shoulders, and wayyyy too loose around the waist/stomach. It just looked so ridiculous! I'm not even "big" ... but my measurements are just not "normal" I suppose. :(

what the hell do you all do??

I swear...its times like this that make me think Whyyyyy do you do this to yourself?? It is such a pain in the ass. I seem to be between sizes or something?:confused:

I wonder if there is a womens clothing company that designs cloths for body builders. that would be cooooool.

spatts... I know right.. I live in sweats and "crazee" pants now but it doesnt always look great at a club or out to dinner with the man, lol.

dressier pants seem to be much easier to find/fit. They are usually just a nice fitted style or straight leg. I dont know what it is but they just fit better. And then its the oppossite for the tops. the casual tops fit better than the dressier one. Im thinking about just wearing some nice black dress pant with a loose adidas t- shirt out to dinner this weekend. :rolleyes:

For some people it might not work...but you pull it off quite well :)
 
Get used to it, I have to get all of my pants taken in....tops are hard to find as well...there are worse things in life:)
 
Somehow I find it hard to feel sorry for you KBgirl. Maybe it's because they make most jeans for either a 12 year old boy or ghetto fabulous style. It took me a good month or so to find 2 pairs of jeans that fit nicely. With most dress shirts I can't button the top button...

I go for the sweats and stay well away from the clubs! My biggest fear in life is getting invited to a wedding, or having to attend a funeral at short notice when "bulking". Other than that, men's clothes fit OK, though they tend to be a bit short in the crotch (YIKES) and you definitely need a belt or go with the baggy look.

I understand. They had a time getting me uniforms for work. I have some XXXXL shirts and some XXXXXL shirts too. I hate buying shirts, and pants, and especially shoes. Shoes are the worst and I can't even control that!!!!

My work uniforms fit me in the shoulders but are made for a very obese person in the neck and the stomach. Yes, not even my stomach will fill those shirts out.

6 feet and i did exagerate a little i am down to 295 right now as i am dieting for an appearance.
i dont think its a good idea for me to post pics on here.
 
Find a good tailor and quit complaining. A good tailor can take a tent from a plus store and fit it to a bodybuilder's body.

KB how tall are you?

If you are short "Husky" boys pants are great and cheap. They have a small waist and hips but lots of leg room.

Per Kronk and Kronkette, they shop for Lucky jeans. They say that brand fits them better.
 
About the only jeans that I can get into are the largest Gap jeans that I can find.

Both my wife and I have to get everything tailored. Her because she is just in great shape, and me because in addition to be larger than average, I am a knuckle-dragging misantrhopic freak. Fortunately, our son has his mother's proportions, although he seems to have trouble wearing all of the stupid crap every other high school kid wears, which just really breaks my heart.

unfortunately 4 KB and other ladies, most of the sites sell men's bb clothing... but maybe you'll find something KB.

there is a site that sells men's bb dress clothing... i found it while searching for clothes for my guy... he can't even buy clothes at the fitness stores anymore :D

i just wear 4x clubshirts and RAP guy jeans...when i go out...
of ocurse normally its max muscle sweats or short and a tank top.

Took me year to get them all used to me wearing jean to work - baggy ones at that. I have several 1000's in suits that need work, I do a few at a time, but you can't ADD cloth to some of my older classic ones. LOL And ALL the shoulder pad are out. - like I need them.

You read my mind......apparently if you have a 50+ inch chest you have to have a 40 inch waist minimum.....and then you arent allowed to have any muscle on your back or traps else it wont fit anyway. Then theres the problem getting pants.......to get them to fit comfortably over my hips and glutes I gotta but them at least 3 inches too big in the waist.

As for suits don't get me started. I've got a bunch of job interviews coming up for which a suit is essential. Looks like I'm going to have to buy in a tailor made suit.....when your a student that isn't easy.
 
i agree with ya...most of the stylin pants I see have legs made for a stick figure...

The ones that have some stretch are the best bet...they make some room for the beautiful quads :)

Stretchy cotton over ghetto bootay! That's the way to go. Can't ya even wear the stretchy stuff any more, KB? Seems like there's some stretchy stuff in just about everything these days, even just the plain ol' khakis.

I was in Wal-Mart the other day and remembered that I needed some new wife beaters to train in (they are good to keep the heat in when I train in the winter). I knew that my 2x ones were a little too tight so I bought some 3x ones. They fit me perfectly in the shoulders and chest...but come down to my freakin' knees!!!! Guess nothing is perfect huh?

i dont know why everyone thinks its so hard, epescially the guys, dont you guys have big and tall stores? get a huge ass pair of pants and have the weist taken in, as far as suits, of course they have to be tailored, ive been getting tailored customs suits since i was in 10 grade playing foot ball.

and as far as what brands to buy that dont need tailoring? HOMEBOY CLOTHES :) crap like FUBU( i hate that shit) and ghetto baggy pants, just goto any EPIC store in any mall, tons of baggy jeans, thats all i ever wear.
 
In my case, it is not just a matter of width. I have (at 70" tall) a 33 inch inseam and a 37 inch sleeve, along with a very high waist, and a very short torso. I have trouble just finding a pair of shorts that fit. I had to buy a new suit a few weeks ago, and the idiot measuring me called two other people over to "consult" with about my measurements. I felt like an organ grinder's monkey.

And, of course, when it was getting altered, they actually called to double check the measurements, and still screwed it up.

Wyst -- yea I wear strecthy pants ... you are right. it seems likes A LOT of pants are made like that now but sometimes I like to wear a nice pair of straight leg pants. o wellllll... I guess ill just have to wear TIGHT ASS cloths from now on:p

And that's a bad thing why? LOL! That's half the reason I got into the whole weight thing, KB! My ass had nearly disappeared from running. I'm always psyched when my BF tells me my ass is getting bigger. He means it as a compliment, btw.

Now if I could just get him to do some squats...

He's got a pretty fine upper body (not big but nice shape and a bit cut), but his ass is practically non-existent, and legs are thin. He got a new pair of tight pants, and from the waist down he looks like Sid Vicious, lol...

lol wyst!! Naw I hear ya. Im playing but I dont like to wear tight cloths allll the time.

and ohhh yes... nice tight man asses are just so yummy!! My guy has the most perfect ass ive ever seen/felt on a guy and it makes me sick... IM JEALOUS! lol! Hes says its from playing basketball... shit -- if you get an ass like that from shooting hoops what the hell am I doing under a squat rack:rolleyes:
