stevesmi Head Mod Elite Moderator May 4, 2018 #2 i highly doubt you have the flu.. you probably have some sort of bacterial infection for it to last a week but yes sweating does help with being sick, your body actually attempts to do this by raising the temperature.. that is why you get fevers when sick doing heavy cardio is not a good idea.. i would sweat by hitting the sauna or just sit in your hot car.. make sure you rehydrate all the lost sweat

muskate High End Bro Platinum May 5, 2018 #3 Doing heavy cardio is not a good idea when you are sick. A better idea would be to sit in the steam room or the sauna. Focus on resting, getting in lots of fluids and supplement with vitamin C. Feel better soon man!
