training after a vasectomy

hey y'all-
i'm about to schedule my vasectomy and was wondering how long after the operation can i begin my regular training routine again. any bro's out there have experience with this one, i really don't want hearsay.

It wasn't a big deal. 3 days till your "back to normal", maybe a week till you want to hit squats hard. Thats how it was for me.

Dont hit the squats within 3 days. I would take it easy for at least a week and then schedule my squat day at the end of that week.

A week isnt' that much time. Don't take chances and fuck things up.

Shcedule your workouts to take advantage of a week off, example: super set and go to failure for the week prior. Then you will need the week off as well as shocking the system into some growth..

However; I have had reservations about my vas, I'm going to be on HRT for life because of it, but being me that isn't a problem. Read this please;

Read the pamplet they give you before you go. I was out for 2 weeks with a black and blue sack the size of a softball. make sure you wear your tighties or a strap and put ice on it as fast as you can. My neighbor was back training upperbody 2 days after his. Guess it just depends on the doc and the # of incisions and how hard he has to tug on your pair.

I just caught this thread as well. Holy shit, its something to think about. I had one done a couple years ago and I am now struggling with low test issues as well.....

This is gonna sound like a stuppid newbie ? but how do you go about getting your test levels checked. Can I have it done by my doc with a physical? I'm guessing ins will pay?? Havn't thought that my vas could have hindered my natural test production.

Request it with a simple blood panel test. If you have a good relationship with your doc, he should take care of your request. Honestly, short cut the bull and go strait to Dr JMW and get the real deal. He has an HRT program and is a great guy to work with. It's gonna cost a little, your ins may cover, but no more than a cycle and you need to know this stuff regardless.

a buddy of mine, who was in his late 20s at the time got a vas. it was 2 weeks before i saw him sit down normally.
