On an individual basis the philosophy holds true. Frequently I am approached by christian solicitors who try and convert me. Obviously they do not respect my beliefs because if they did they wouldnt feel the need to impose theirs on me.

I will not initiate disrespect, I just give it back in return when necessary. (except for the case of this thread)

Unfortunately I am representing the non-believer as being an arrogant asshole, no better than the believer who imposes his or her own belief on someone else.

My frequent visitation of the anabolic board is ultimately a search for truth and spreading knowledge I have obtained to guide people on the right path. And such is life.... though I feel like organized religion is a barrier in the search for truth, self improvement and other aspects of life. I am not a Christian but I know a lot about Christianity and have read most of the bible in my life.

Insulting God itself would obviously be a sin and yes Lust is condemned in the Bible, but I never understood how it fit in.

What does God have against lust? Why take lust away from Christians? What if somebody has violent lustful promiscuous sex, does not insult God and before going to sleep, hits the knees and thanks God for all the joy he let him have that day?

Isn´t lust a thankful admiration for the creation of the Lord? Why can´t the naked human body which is meant to be a brilliant creation of the Lord, be seen and enjoyed and has to be hidden away and ignored other than for the purpose of procreation?

often times the morality and the values that the non-believer hold will be more strongly adhered to than that of the casual believer. This is due to the method at which they were obtained. The non-believer has spent countless hours pondering such issues; to deny the existence of something that society accepts as 99% fact and could possibly be engrained in our DNA requires a non-objective thought process on all fronts.

As far as socities not surviving this could be argued. It appears to be true from the outside but internal factors could be another reason for collapse. And how long do you define "surviving"?
