i was benching the other day. second set with 315 i felt 3 pops in my peck. i stopped immeditly, the muscle didnt bruise yet, hopefully it doesnt. my peck is very sore and i have a lack of mobility, as far as moveing my arm. has anyone done the same thing to themsevles? how long did it take before you were able workout normal again? thanks for the help, anything to help me out would be appreciated. thanks again
 
i know how much it sucks to not train a body part for a while (especially the chest) but you should really take it easy. what gear are you on bro?

Samething just happened to me bro, and it's frustrating as hell....I have absolutely no marks or swelling at all!!! However, it hurts to raise my right arm and the pain is right below my neck on my right peck by the collar bone. At first it got better then I did chest again and fucked it up even more....
I would stay away from doing bench or pull ups. I'm still doing legs bi's tri's and rows which does not hurt but nothing else/

What I think it is in my case at least, that the muscle has ripped off the bone just a little from tightness....funny thing is that I was benching 315 too then I did some flies! So one of those did it cause the next day the pain started

Unless you on the juice this might take weeks but most likely a month or so....It seems that this is what I'm looking at with my recovery

get medical help

when you start healing

hop on 200mg deca ew for about 15 weeks
eq 400mg for about 15 weeks
test 250mg at about 15 weeks
and some var or tbol for about 8 weeks

all will help you recover
if you can afford it add some growth

who in their right mind would advise someone to hop on all that gear to recover??
hopefully most of the bros here are not stupid enough to follow your advise because it will hurt someone one day.

I've had some experience with this. I didnt really hear any pops, but I did feel the muscle tear. It was like if you had a raw chicken breast in your hands and tore it in half, except it was inside my chest. I would tend to think that if you dont have any brusing or swelling, you may just have severely strained something, but if you think it may be something serious def go and see a specialist and find out the truth. It is nothing to just let go.
